Fresh attacks reported in Tehran
The conflict involving the United States and Iran escalated further on Tuesday with new US military strikes reported in Tehran. According to the latest updates, the attacks focused on command centres linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Iran reported that 13 of its troops were killed in the strikes.
The developments were part of a fast moving series of actions being tracked through live updates as tensions rose across multiple locations in the region.
Drone attacks target US bases in the region
In a separate set of incidents, US bases in Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Bahrain were reported to have come under drone attacks. The updates did not provide details on the extent of damage or casualties at these facilities.
The reported drone strikes highlight how the conflict is no longer limited to direct actions inside Iran and has begun to affect US assets across the Gulf and neighbouring areas.
Fighting spills into Lebanon
Alongside the US Iran developments, the situation also intensified in Lebanon. Live updates said Israel increased its offensive, while fresh exchanges of strikes were reported between Israel and Hezbollah.
The latest round of cross border action added to the widening footprint of the conflict, with the Lebanon front seeing renewed violence as the broader regional crisis deepened.
Multiple theatres, rapid developments
With strikes reported in Tehran, drone attacks aimed at US bases across three countries, and escalating hostilities in Lebanon, the conflict showed signs of spreading across several theatres at once.
The situation remained fluid as new incidents were being reported through the day, with military activity involving the US, Iran, Israel and Hezbollah continuing to unfold.
