Runway show staged inside the Legion of Honor

The GQ Bowl, an event tied to Super Bowl weekend programming, combined sports-weekend spectacle with a fashion presentation by designer Thom Browne. The gathering was hosted at San Francisco’s Legion of Honor museum, where attendees were seated inside the venue for the show.

The format positioned the runway element as the centrepiece, with the audience watching from within the museum’s galleries. The event was framed as a crossover between the Super Bowl’s celebrity-heavy calendar and Fashion Week-style runway programming.

Celebrity attendees from multiple industries

The guest list reflected a mix of entertainment and athletic talent. Among those present was actor François Arnaud, known for “Heated Rivalry.” Olympic gymnast Sunisa Lee also attended, alongside actor Myha’la from the series “Industry.”

Music names included DJ and producer Diplo and K-pop artist Joshua Hong. The crowd also featured performers Queen Latifah and Teyana Taylor. Taylor arrived with her two daughters, who accompanied her at the show.

Fashion, sports and pop culture crossover

The GQ Bowl has become known for bringing together sport, nightlife and celebrity appearances during Super Bowl week. This edition added a runway show component, with Thom Browne presenting designs in a museum setting rather than a conventional fashion venue.

The event’s emphasis was on the intersection of high fashion and major sports-week entertainment, marked by a front-row audience that included film and television faces, musicians, and elite athletes.
